I have lived in the country all of my adult life- from New Mexico all the way back to the east in rural New England.  I've have a fascination with working people, farmers, wooded trails, state fairs and dirt roads.  I am compelled to draw and paint those subjects so that I can understand them more fully.

The "Hobby Horse" spread was a submission for a poster for the my local Bondville Fair in southern Vermont.  The "Girl With the Goldfish Prize" also a memory from the fair.
